Java Introduction [CSLO53]  

This course provides the beginning programmer with a guide to developing applications using the Java programming language. This course covers object-oriented programming concepts including: creating and using classes and methods, loop structures, string method, if/thenelse, joptionPane Class and arrays. Prerequisite: Introduction to computers or equivalent, programming experience is an asset.

Software Required: JAVA SDK, JAVA IDE - both free downloads -Can support MAC users. Have students contact instructors immediately upon logging into course to confirm compatibility with their MAC version. Textbook required.
