This course is designed to provide a theoretical or conceptual framework that students can use to make decision in the Canadian Business environment. Topics include: capital markets in Canada, investment underwriting, long term debt versus lease financing, common and preferred stock financing, dividend policy and retained earnings, derivatives, convertibles, warrants, and external growth through mergers. Prerequisite: Business Finance 1. Textbook required.
