ASIST is a two-day skill building workshop that will increase your willingness, confidence, and capacity to provide interventions to persons with thoughts of suicide. Participants will consider personal and community attitudes about suicide. Through powerful audiovisuals, discussions, and simulations, you will learn and develop the skills to recognize when someone has thoughts of suicide and how to provide a skilled intervention that includes a safety plan that connects the person to further support.
Fee includes two days of instruction, workshop materials, comprehensive book, and wallet card. Students will receive a certificate upon successful completion of the workshop.
