Fundamentals of Occupational Health and Safety Law (CSMO231)

This course will discuss the fundamentals of the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Specific attention will be given to: application and administration, joint committees, toxic substances, notices, enforcement, penalties, safety policy, internal responsibility system, WHMIS, certification, regulations respecting biological and chemical agents and designated substances.
