General Ship Knowledge   

This course introduces the learner to the daily operations on a vessel and provides basic knowledge of the features of a ship including engineering, and electrical systems. Work through activities to help you understand the location and use of safety equipment on board. Plan a voyage using geographical data and weather conditions for the area and implement pollution prevention strategies for travelling in sheltered waters.
