Professional Transition for RPNs   

This course is designed to assist students to transition professional nursing practice gained in the RPN role to meet the Entry to Practice Competencies for RNs. Students will apply new and previous knowledge and critical thinking to enhance skills of analysis. Topics include use of evidence to support professional nursing practice, development of a professional self-concept, and exploration of the legal and ethical foundations of nursing practice. Textbook required.

Software Required: MS Teams 

Note: The In-person labs take place on the Kingston Campus.  Dates TBA.

This course is part of the Option 1 RPN to BScN Program.

Students are strongly encouraged to take WRIT1000 prior to taking HLTH1002 or NURS1008
