Learners will design optimal routes and fuel plans as well as maintain up-to-date delivery information. Discover what skills are needed to facilitate timely vehicle maintenance and inspection, calculate load arrival times, and integrate hours of service information. Learners will use these skills to apply weight and load securement factors in fleet planning and operations and assess the mode of transportation impact to plan for delivery to the Distribution Centre and last mile to store.

Learners acquire skills in implementing the use of metrics ( incl. supplier rates of production, materials used, progress of work, lead time and fill time) to support fulfillment targets. Assessing compliance with Federal, Provincial and International regulations is embedded within fulfillment operations. Learners are required to schedule pick-up and delivery, complete invoicing processes, and connect fulfillment processes to efficiency and cost containment.
